Do you want to learn how to shoot a pistol? Are you a complete beginner? Are you interested in firearms but don't know where to start? Do you have limited experience with a firearm but want to learn more? This course is for you. 

This is a non-shooting course. All instruction will take place in a classroom with hands-on material. 

During this course participants will learn the firearms safety rules, types of pistols, how to select a pistol, parts and various functions of a pistol, fundamentals of marksmanship, gear/holsters and next steps in your firearm education. 

Participants will also practice the firearm fundamentals using non-lethal SIRT training pistol (Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger).
